03_What I do
01/03

Production direction

Direction of production from concept to delivery: budgets, contracts, fabrication, freight, customs, install, unveiling, public authorizations, technical certifications. One accountable partner across the whole chain, including long-run exhibitions and high-constraint environments (extreme climate, tight timelines, large scale).

02/03

Artist relationships

I support a close circle of established international artists in light, digital and monumental art. Long term, trust-based collaborations: sometimes as their production partner on a single project, sometimes as their embedded studio manager over years. A network built on shared work.

03/03

Multi-artist productions

For festivals, cities and cultural seasons: a program assembled from the artists I work with, one work per site, matched to a budget, a timeline, a local reality. The organiser deals with one person instead of five studios: one contract, one planning, one production carried across all the works, on site until the last unveiling. Everything that can be mutualised is.

The relationships vary: production partner, studio manager, occasional collaborator, agent, project developer, certified technician. None of it under exclusivity: the artists stay free, the relationships hold on their own. Some last one project, some have run for years.

06_ABOUT & CONTACT

Hidden yet visible, network

I grew up in the French countryside with slow internet and fast obsessions: design, architecture, music, video games, extreme sports, always with some technology layered on top.

Entrepreneurship studies in France, design studies in Canada, then a door opened: TETRO, 2017. Four years spent in the middle, between brands, artists, institutions, festivals, producers, learning how complex things actually get made.

In 2021, mid-covid, I started working under my own name. More than fifty installations across fifteen countries since, from Europe to the Gulf to the Americas. Along the way, the industry became familiar terrain. A lot of nights in half-built venues, keeping artists and technicians steady while twenty technologies find new ways to fail before an opening.

I work hand in hand with artists, often embedded inside their studios. Somewhere between a producer, a studio manager, and the person the artists hand the pressure to.

hyvn is the network we assemble around each project. Artists come with their own teams and trusted collaborators; I complete the picture where something is missing: a fabricator, a rigger, a shipper, a curator. Configured differently every time.

Backstage is where I've always felt best, because of the view. Backstage is also the projects themselves: the budgets, the negotiations, the artist hierarchies, the cultural differences. I spend just as much time there. I'd like hyvn to also become a place to talk about all this, among ourselves: artists, producers, festivals, commissioners, new-comers, everyone doing this work together.
